Lucas Safrit is the Synodically Authorized Minister commissioned to Ebenezer Lutheran Church by the Bishop of the NC Synod, ELCA. Born and raised in Rowan County, he graduated from Catawba College in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in History. After receiving the call to ministry in 2016, Safrit went on to graduate from Wake Forest University School of Divinity in 2021. Initially sharing appreciation for his Presbyterian and Lutheran roots, Safrit's foundation in ministry has fully embraced Lutheran Liturgical Tradition and he is actively pursing Ordination into Ministry of the Word and Sacrament within the ELCA. He is happily married to his wife, Megan, and has a daughter, Reagan Leigh Safrit.
